
History of Mishkal Mosque of Kozhikode
This ancient mosque lies in Kuttichira area of Thekkepuram in Calicut. It was originally constructed by a devout and rich merchant from Arabia called Nakhooda Mishkal. In fact, the mosque takes its name from him. The mosque is a typical example of the type of construction common among mosque of those times.
